"Error 500" bei nur einer Domain

Ich bekomme seit wenigen Stunden einen "Error 500" bei einer Kundenseite angezeigt. Dies war vor wenigen Stunden noch nicht so und in der Zeit wurde auch nichts an der Seite verändert. Wie kann das sein? Ich dachte fcgid hat dieses Problem nicht mehr!?
Habe ich die richtigen Module von Apache aktiviert oder etwa zu viele? Ein Neustart von Apache hat auch nicht geholfen.

EDIT: Nun kann ich die Seite plötzlich wieder aufrufen. Habe statt nur der Adresse noch einen Pfad zu einem Statistiktool hinzugefügt und nachdem das lud ging auch die Hauptseite wieder. Wie kann das angehen und wie kann ich es zukünftig verhindern? Danke.

Da hast du es doch schon. Schmeiss mal die suchmaschine an. oft fehlt ein crlf am ende oder du hast einen komischen editor verwendet.

Hmm, habe mal bei Google danach gesucht und verschiedene Mutmaßungen gefunden. Leider gab es dabei auch immer unterschiedliche Lösungen.
Eine Vermutung dabei ist die Rechtevergabe.
Sollten Dateien und Ordner ab /var/www/virtual/domain.de vuXXXX:www-data oder vuXXXX:vuXXXX gehören?
Reicht für eine *.php Datei 644 als Recht oder ist 744 besser? Die index.php hat nämlich derzeit 644.
Leider (oder zum Glück?) kommt der Fehler derzeit nicht mehr. Deswegen kann ich nur etwas ändern und alle paar Stunden / Tage ins Log gucken...

644 reicht in der Regel vollkommen aus.

Aber mal ne Frage am Rand.
Ist das eine selber erstellte index.php oder gehört die zu nem System Komplettscript (Joomla, OSCommerce u.s.w.)? Evtl. ist der Bug ja da drin.

Gehört zu Joomla (1.5.9).
Habe dort aber nichts drin verändert und bei dieser fortgeschrittenen Version in der wichtigsten Datei von Joomla dürfte sonst auch kein Fehler drin sein.
Wenn man den Fehler bei Google eingibt findet man auch sehr unterschiedliche Systeme und Lösungsvorschläge. Allerdings ist keiner dabei der gehen könnte.

Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen mal ein Joomla auf meinem Testserver installiert.
Die Dateien gehören bei mir vuXXXX:vuXXXX... Bis jetzt konnte ich Dein Problem aber auch noch feststellen...
Ist auch nur eine Grundinstallation...
Werde morgen mal ein paar Module und Komponenten installieren.
Oder sag Du mir was Du bei Dir schon in Joomla an Komponenten und Module drin hast, dann würde ich die auch mal drauf machen.
