in debian etch it's not /usr/lib/apache2/suexec2 its /usr/lib/apache2/suexec

rights should be -rwsr-xr-x root root (setuid root !)

hmm, suexec instead of suexec2 works to start apache2 on Etch but .php-files wont work. He always wants to download them.

what can i do except testing, unfortunately i´m no Programmer, just an
Sysadmin Rolleyes

I know that i´m stressing but VHCS 2.4.8 Omega is a must have by us because of FastCGI PHP4/PHP5. Many WebApplications only run under PHP4 other only runs under PHP5 - that´s not easy at the moment.

Does this work now?

I would love to use php as fcgi, so i could see which account (apache user) makes most load on the server....
