ispCP 1.0.6 on centos 5.5 not working?
I've just tried installing ispCP 1.0.6 on centos 5.5 using this installation guide:
http://isp-control.net/documentation/sta...ion/centos

I am using 1.0.6 as it works with the versions of perl supported in the centos repositories unlike 1.0.7

I get through all the steps without error although it does say "Congratulations you installed ispCP '1.0.7 OMEGA' successfully" (which I thought was odd seems as it was 1.0.6 I downloaded) and then try accessing the url for the admin but all that happens is the contents of var/www/html is shown (If i place an index.html file there that shows up)

does anyone have any idea where I may have gone wrong (am a bit of a newbie on setting this sort of thing up)

The documentation is a bit messed up (or at least not in a form I like). If the installer itself is stating 1.0.7, make sure you installed 1.0.6, not 1.0.7. The documentation was "updated" for 1.0.7-RC1, but I can't verify if the instructions work.

Did you make sure to remove the contents of /etc/httpd/conf.d prior to install as is noted in the guide? Also, did you try restarting the httpd service?

i used the ispcp-omega-1.0.6.tar.gz version from the downloads section..

the contents of /etc/httpd/conf.d were moved and renamed as per the instructions

I have just tried restarting the httpd service and it seems to make no difference

Run:

apachectl -t -D DUMP_VHOSTS

And report the output if you don't mind. Feel free to change the domains and IPs reported if you want.

The key is that you want to see the admin site you specified in the setup process.
