How to backup email - Hopefully with cron
Hi,
Does anyone have a simple way to perform a daily email backup of all domains? Hopefully, this can be run from cron or even remotely and the resulting file either stored for a pickup or ftp'd to another location. Need the restoration method as well if you have it. Have searched for backups and found filesystem backup, database backup and others; but haven't found a simple email backup. This may be a case of me just not looking in the right place and if that is so, please point me to correct place. Thanks for any help.

Mail backup is same as file backup of /var/mail/virtual

Restore also simple - all Mails of all users have same uid/gid....

Of course mails are changing every second so a backup is normally not perfect... either backup mor often oder do a rsync every hour...
