email problems after update from 1.0.4 -> 1.0.7

We have the same problem, have been working on it for two days now.

We updated from 1.0.5 -> 1.0.7 and now no one can login to their e-mail account (error message says "Wrong password").

To me it sound like a problem with salted passwords, so I´m trying to locate the part of the code where the passwords gets encoded.

Also some accounts get status "Unknown error", well that does not sound so good =)

Any ideas?
