thats right - the DB table ftp_users is differnt then the www folders.
I have set the permissions with this script:

PFAD=$(echo $i | cut -d ":" -f 6)

echo $OWNER:$GROUP $PFAD/
done

Is it possible to change the DB entrys for ftp_users again from /etc/passwd ? I mean at once ...
