ich meinte "deinstallieren" und dann wieder "installieren".... (the windows way of fixing problems... (after rebooting first :-) ).

BeNes weg ist natürlich eleganter - es gibt sicher eine apt-get Option, die das Paket nochmals installiert - zB.

"aptitude reinstall awstats"

oder so :-) (hab grad gelesen, dass aptitude flexibler ist als apt-get :-)
