Nightly to Nightly Update not working

Tried to go from:
(nightly)
ispCP 1.0rc3 OMEGA
build: 2007-10-15
Priamos

TO:

20070221 Nightly and I got an admin page error of Invalid Config 'Codename'
Contact Administrator..

Rolled it back to previous snapshot to get operational again even though it only seemed to trash the admin section access.. .not the websites...

is there a better upgrade guide?

This didn't quite work right but all was good except one line had an error in it...
