Problems with automatic responder
Hi,

I had a small problem with the automatic responder today. For some reason, when someone sent an email to my email address which had automatic responder activated, the original sender also recieved an error that the mail could not be delivered, even though the mail delivered just fine.

Here's some information:

The sender had an email with this error to his email:
<xxxxx@ispcp-arpl.xxxxxxx.com> (expanded from
<xxxxx@xxxxxxx.com>): Command died with status 1:
"/var/www/ispcp/engine/messager/ispcp-arpl-msgr"

Final-Recipient: rfc822; xxxxxx@ispcp-arpl.xxxxxxx.com
Original-Recipient: rfc822;xxxxx@xxxxxxx.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.3.0
Diagnostic-Code: x-unix; unknown mail system error 1

mail.log said this:
mail postfix/pipe[21539]: 49F8DF41D73: to=<xxxx@ispcp-arpl.xxxxxx.com>, orig_to=<xxxxxx@xxxxxx.com>, relay=ispcp-arpl, delay=1.1, delays=0.05/0.01/0/1, dsn=5.3.0, status=bounced (Command died with status 1: "/var/www/ispcp/engine/messager/ispcp-arpl-msgr")

Unfortunately I didn't save the actual arpl logs. After these problems occurred, I opened some of the config files, chmodded ispcp.conf file to 777(it was 644) for a while and uncommented this:
$main::engine_debug = '_on_';
from the ispcp-arpl-msgr

Suddenly it all started to work again. It had worked also before, but for some reason it stopped worked today.

Any ideas what could have caused this? Perhaps something to do with amavis?
