HI

I have the same problem today.

This is because de new fcgi from debian etch neds a new version of eAccelerator.

you will need to install the new Eaccelerator.

add the following to /etc/apt/sources-list:

deb http://debian.mcmillan.net.nz/debian etch awm

do an apt-get update an
apt-get install php5-eaccelerator

restart apache.
