problems with php and mysql

Hi to all.

First sorry for my bad english.

I have a ispcp in my dedicated server. A few days ago 1 client try to install a wordpress and he's get this error :

"Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration" I try configure php.ini with varius configuration but i dont get any result. please help me with this problem. My client need it fast, for hes company and he say me a ultimatum.
