No, I'm on gentoo, so the enabling/disabling of stuff is a little different. My setup is clean, but I still notice that the php bug was being exposed. I googled it and found a bug in php's tracker on it too. Looks like it has been around for quite a while.

I know that putting that setting in the starter script, enables tuning of it per site, but why not just let mod_fcgid do this dynamically based on the load of the sites.

It seems like tuning the values:

DefaultMinClassProcessCount 1
DefaultMaxClassProcessCount 5

to best fit your system, should do just fine...

If there are any huge benifits to doing it the default ispcp way, and i'm missing it, please someone chime in. Smile
