Upgrade RC6 --> 1.0 failed

Hi @ all,

To be on the safe side.. I searched, found, but didn't find everything

While upgrading to 1.0 i ran into the following error:

Upgrading system values...done
        Upgrading database structure...ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
failed!
        SQL Update failed.

Searching learned me that i need to restore a backup.. Now still searching which backup and which folder exactly

I guess it's all about Step 6 in the upgrade guide, but which commands should i use to restore the needed stuff?

I'm not a complete linux noob(debian in this case) but guess i don't want to overwrite my complete /etc/ directory..

Help?
