apache2-mpm-worker not available - installing on Debian etch (VPS container)

stable is not a command, as you can see it has a # in front so it's a comment. you really didn't read the installation guide very carefully .

all you have to do si pico or mcedit /etc/apt/sources.list and add

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ lenny main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ lenny/updates main contrib non-free

at the end of the file and then run

Code:

apt-get update

and presto! you're done, you can now start installing ispcp

i would also recommend you to upgrade to debian lenny
