I don't know why your setup did not recognize.

Are you sure the redhat Makefile was used for "make"?

Can you have a look in /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf - there you should have a line
"CMD_HOSTNAME = /bin/hostname"


Seems that there are not many redhat users... :-(
