I have one of theese boxes and did some tests. It's a pity: either you leave the installed firmware on it and have the latest gui on it or you put a slithly older open firmware on it where it is possible to make little changes (but still with the gui) or then you install another firmware on it with much more possibilities but you will need some usb-storage for it... (and you also loose the webgui - need to setup your own webgui)...
But if i install the debian-firmware ... so i'll have debian on it and even if it's slow, i have an access throught ssh ( like every server i mean ), so i don't need the webgui of the default firmware .. you know what i mean .. a server which need only 5 W ( power needed ) it's a good thing for the environnement isn't it, ( let's return to our old 56 k modem !!!! )
