BAD! diconnection of IMAP

This is really bad....
When I add a new email address to a client, any current clients that are connected via IMAP are instantly disconnected.

As soon as I click ok to add the new email account:

Courier-IMAP server shut down by signal.
Protocol: IMAP
Server: ip
Port: 143
Error Code: 0x800CCCDD
