[SOLVED] PHP.ini changes do not stick

Here it's correct:
Loaded Configuration File /var/www/fcgi/suther.de/php5/php.ini

the variable is named
max_execution_time

and you need to set it in the correct php.ini (see above) - kill all php5 processes of this vhost and then you're done.
