What disribution you use with ispCP
I created this poll to get a clear idea on the most used distributions with ispCP.

Thank you for your participation in this poll.

Best Regards

Maybe we should "force" the users to vote...

24 is "nothing"....

I don't know how we could force the users - but we should send a message to all of them!

After 100 or more votes I think it's *slowly* going to be some sort of relevant...

What would you think about including an "information statistics collection" in the next release (as an opt-in, obviously)? After installing/updating the panel, we ask the user if he's willing to send us some information to gather statistics (making sure that *no* sensible information is gathered), like:

- Salted md5 hash of hostname: to avoid repeatedly collecting from the same server.
- OS/Distro/Version
- Total memory available
- Awstats off/dynamic/static
- Amavis enabled? before or after-queue?
- Number of domains/subdomains/aliases
- Number of e-mails/db's/ftp's

This would give us an idea about the requirements, constraints and preferences of our users, without exposing any sensitive information about them...

Why not ? Good idea!

Very good idea! Let us collect the infos directly, if the user want!

Should we do a Survey or directly collect the data if agreed? What does the community think?

Maybe some sort of anonymous usage statistics ( optional ) could address the issue ...?

Do what you think is necessary, as long as it does not effect our customers or reveal anything about them.
Don't see any problem in any of the things you've suggested above. Go for it I say!
