Move to another server and upgrade from VHCS2

Hello,

one of my servers are still running VHCS2 and I would like to move the whole server to a new hardware. I was wondering if I can install ISPCP on the new server and then just copy the database and some config files instead of copying the whole server stuff and then do a upgrade from VHCS2 to ISPCP. Does anyone know if that could work?
