Using both PHP 5.3 and 5.2

Hey folks,

is there a tutorial how to setup both PHP 5.2 and PHP 5.3 versions?
Per default 5.3 should be set, 5.2 can be set via .htaccess (many hosters df.eu, 1und1, etc. are using this method)
