AllowOverride

Ok so i'm a noob using ispCP and VPS.
My Hosting pre-installed debian lenny and ispCP for me, i adding a domain, to a user account, and tried to install a PHP app.

Problem is the software says i need AllowOverride All in order to execute php_flags on the .htaccess, and without it i get error after error. The app works well on the shared host that i'm leaving.

I have been looking around on where to change the option, i run through all config files inside /etc/apache2, tried to change on by one but no luck, i still get the same 500 error every time.

How do i fix this?
