Multi backup

I have backup dir in /var/www/virtual/account/backups
There are copy of file and database, but There are backup from one day only.
I want do backup from 7 days ago. Example:

account-22.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2
account-23.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2
account-24.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2
account-25.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2
account-26.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2
account-27.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2
account-28.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2
account-29.06.2010-backup.tar.bz2

How it is made?

Write a cron which move the old backup file before the backup cron starts to a new file.
