RE: Domain alias mail forward ?
Sorry to bring this back to life. But it might still be useful.
Since the time that this post appeared, are there any news to do:
mail from: domainB.com
sent to: domainA.com

domainB.com is an alias of the domainA.com

Is there any newer way so you can have a domain alias to forward the mail to the domain it's aliasing? Or should I start modifying the postfix configs?

Thanks

RE: Domain alias mail forward ?
Hi there,

yes, it's an old thread but: Wouldn't it be nice to have such feature? I think it's not yet implemented but it would be a nice-to-have feature as we have customers, that have about 20 email accounts and as much as 5 to 10 different domains.

In an older system we had a table postfixvirtual where there were only entries like postfixvirt_source:@domainA, postfixvirt_target:@domainB and that did somehow the job. ;-)

Best regards,
Jens
