Unable to connect after installing ispCP 1.0.6

Hi guys,
After a while being away I came back to ispcp and happily found the new release, i.e. 1.0.6. So I installed it on a fresh Debian 5 vps but strangely enough, I can not access neither admin.mysite.com nor mysite.com. Both yield a "Unable to connect" message.

There seems to be no problem with my DNS server, as mysite.com resolves to the IP and dig command shows FQDN.

I repeated the setup steps with both fastcgi and fcgi but with no success. I can restart apache and see no error message. syslog is also unhelpful.

I am really got stocked. I had installed ispcp 1.0.5 before on the same box, with no issue. I really appreciate your hints.

check your logs. With no info, we can't help

I looked at syslog, but could not see anything suspicious. What other logs are relevant to check? I will paste the results here.
