Hi

First: I'm a totally linux newbie... Smile
I have installed Ispcp on a fresh Debian.
The memory usage now: 780MB!

Many thanks

RE: High memory usage
This is normal for Linux. It will always take as much memory as it can get.

RE: High memory usage
@Boss Online

read the answer of Knut. Linux only uses the memory which is available - why pay for memory and then not use it?

This does not mean that when "mem usage = mem available" the server will crash... linux can manage the memory with the running processes....
Only if really too less mem is available then you'll see an increasing swap usage...
eg. don't run a webserver with apache, mysql etc with 100 customers with only 256MB of ram... this won't work.
