Receiving E-mail from outside source
I have been trying to send an E-mail address to my domain address from my gmail address, I get unable to deliever, would that be because I am on a dynamic ip address and I am using cnames in my dns records? I am currently unable to setup the MX Records because of this but soon I will be on a static IP (changing ISP's)

An MX cannot be a CNAME. Well, it can, but it's not well supported.

Have you made sure that the server will accept incoming mail?

ok so as soon as I have my static IP and get rid if the cname, all will be good, the server send to outside, it also receives local mail, just can not receive, tomorrow I will have a static IP, and DNS Records will be changed as soon as I have the new ip. hopefully that will fix it

RE: Receiving E-mail from outside source
Got the static IP now, setup MX Records, incoming from outside source now works for the customers domain but not the my main domain yet MX Records are setup the same, could it be a setting in Postfix?
