Exclamation BUG: Your IMAP Server Closed the connection
When changing a users email account password from within the back-end , on submitting the new password, all current connections to the IMAP service drop and Outlook reports "Your IMAP server closed the connection".

When you have over 90 accounts all connecting to IMAP, you can appreciate that dropping 90 connections results in a lot of unhappy customers and of course, they Call us.

Something so simple as changing a password should not affect all accounts within a product.

We have the same issue..
and the only way to get it to work again is to restart the server

Running

RE: BUG: Your IMAP Server Closed the connection
Hi

if the imap connections are dropped then it's interesting to know what imap server is used.

But it seems that with each change on the mbox-part the related services (including imap) are stopped and started... (ispcp-serv-mngr)...
This is not very sophisticated...
