Global symbol "$regExp" requires explicit package
Hello All,
I am trying to install on an EC2 instance using Cent OS 5.5. Everything goes well during installation until I get to this command:
'perl ispcp-setup'

It throws this error message:
Global symbol "$regExp" requires explicit package name at ispcp-setup line 65.
Global symbol "$regExp" requires explicit package name at ispcp-setup line 67.
Execution of ispcp-setup aborted due to compilation errors.

I've spent several hours trying to find a work-around or the source of the problem with no luck. I really appreciate any help that anyone can give.

Thanks,
John

RE: Global symbol "$regExp" requires explicit package

RE: Global symbol "$regExp" requires explicit package
Has this ever been resolved for a install on CentOS 5.x. I too am getting the following with Perl 5.10 installed.

Global symbol "$regExp" requires explicit package name at ispcp-setup line 65.
Global symbol "$regExp" requires explicit package name at ispcp-setup line 67.
Execution of ispcp-setup aborted due to compilation errors.

It happens for 1.0.7 and 1.1.0 beta.

It appears as of now there is no way to test this panel on CentOS 5.x is that correct?
