When upgrading from 1.0.5 to 1.0.7 i never get to courier screen or postfix

Hello,

having some trouble with upgrading. i never get to the “courier screen” or "postfix/proftpd"... also having problems with rkhunter when doing the safe-upgrade "The SCRIPTDIR configuration option has not been set by the installer. sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code 1".

am i missing something?

i got past the previous issue and the upgrade process started but i got failed on

and the log file says:
