Question AWSTATS Options
For the AWSTATS web stats feature

Can we have the following please:

1) A Fix to set the .htpasswd user password when changing the GUI user password.

2) An option to turn off authentication on the stats view page?

Thanks

RE: AWSTATS Options
1) The .htpasswd password is a separat user password, you can edit & change via the "protected areas" / Group Users Management ...
There you have one user, belonging to the statistics group ... you can add more user to that group - or change the password of that user as you like. This is an extra user - only created with the same username & password as the enduser login for convenience reasons.

2) It might be a good idea, to integrate the /stats url as an protected area - so anybody who likes to do that, can "unprotect" it. However it is a difficult setup behind the scenes (with some proxy redirection and so on ) so we'll have to figure if this is possible.
But i guess so.

Thanks for the input.

RE: AWSTATS Options
Hi thanks for that

1) Yes have used this option to change the password, but i have some 'not so inteligent' clients that would forget to change both passwords.
So if there could be an option to enable updating of both.
yes i understand it would get quite complex if many stats group users were set.

2) thanks for considering this.

3) AWSTATS subdomains as well.
Am just now following the guides.
http://isp-control.net/forum/thread-9215.html
But if this could be integrated into a future release.

Thanks
