LDAP & OpenID
Hi,

I did a forum search and saw one thread (2009) discussing implementing LDAP for user authentication and I wondered what the developers thought about this for the future?

In the world we are in now where everybody has 20 different logins and each service has different password complexity requirements it is quite important.

Is there much interest out there in expanding ispCP to authenticate against a LDAP backend and / or adding OpenID authentication?

Obviously there is always lots to do and it comes down to the developers interest in a feature and time available but I would certainly vote for both of these auth methods in my top three wishlist for ispCP.

Thanks

MC

RE: LDAP & OpenID
There are thoughts to use a LDAP for storing the ispCP configuration and all passwords. But until now we need to fix much more important issues.
