Login Blocked for 30 minutes!
i didnt properly logout of ispCP when i closed my browser, and when i tried to login again it says that account was in use.

i waited another minute and tried again, this time it gave me a warning that i would have to try to login in 30 seconds.

so again i waited a minute and tried again, then it says "You have been blocked for 30 minutes"

is this something normal when closing out the browser? and if so, how can i go about changing it so it closes the session when the browser closes (or even allow multiple sessions with the same user)

Never had such a Problem! Because i always log out Big Grin
But you can change the Defaults when you Login as Admin -> Settings.
You can delete you IP from the ispcp-DB so you have not to wait the 30min.

RE: Login Blocked for 30 minutes!
well, was able to get rid of the 30 minute wait... but i still get this error everytime i login
"User already logged or session sharing problem! Aborting..."

was removing myself from the login table, not sure if there is more places i need to edit though in mysql>

btw, thanks for the quick response Smile think switching from VHCS was the right choice!

of course! Which Version of ispCP do you use ?

Check Manage Users -> User Session
Is there more than one Session from you ?

RE: Login Blocked for 30 minutes!
finally let me in, and only one session for me running...
so i decided to logout (the right way), close the browser, open and try to login again... still getting the "User already logged or session sharing problem! Aborting..." error

using RC2c, but it looks like i might want to get a nightly and try that out.

== edit ==
well i got in again and disabled the time between attempts and cant reproduce the error right now, but might still test out a nightly Smile

Ok - test it!
But it would make sense to install the RC3 later when it´s out.
RC2c is damn old. I can´t reproduce this Error in the Trunk.

RE: Login Blocked for 30 minutes!
ive installed the Trunk and everything seems fine now.
havent been able to reproduce it either, other than having 2 sessions running when there is only one but it still allows me to login

reading around on the forums i see people talking of a version number regarding nightly builds, so how do you find out which one you are actually using?

Hi genesisrage

about the version number and nightly builds: with every commit of changes which is made public by the developers the revision number gets increased - every morning (about 6 o clock in europe) the actual revision is packed into a file - there the date is the "version number"... so, most important is what you have downloaded...
