Same doc root for 2 domains?
Hello all....

I have a client who has 2 domains but he wants the same doc root for both and only to maintain one doc root for both, but he does not want an alias... he wants the end users to see either domain1 or domain2 and to be able to bookmark either... he does not want someone to type in domain1 and it simply goes to domain2...

On the vhcs2 i simply made domain1's doc root in the vhcs2.conf file go to domain2's doc root, but with fast cgi i cannot do this.... is there a way around it? should i modify the php4 wrapper script thing?

Thanks...

Rob..

RE: Same doc root for 2 domains?
Does not seem to work....

in the db it looks like this....

52 80 http://www.domain2beduplicated.com ok / 1 http://www.realdomain.com

when i type in domain2beduplicated.com it just forwards to realdomain.com rather than still show domain2beduplicated.com

I ran the request manager too and manually restarted apache..

Any ideas?
Rob..
