RE: Posftix!
Hi

btw: IMAP (and also POP3) services have nothing to do with postfix.

If you use a default installation with ispcp then you need the courier packages - they are responsible for imap, pop and therefore also one part of webmail.

And well, as gOOvER wrote: always have a look in the log files!

RE: Posftix!
i can give you the logs..
tellme what logs do you want and i will copy them... or tellme how to compress all the logs into a unique file and i will give you the link to download it... anyway i will try to do it by my own...

Edit: i can't find any log of mail, pop3, or IMAP... i will upload all the logs that i think are needed on Rs.com
edit2: i found one log... called mail.err.. this is the log

RE: Posftix!
I'd try /var/log/mail.log as first...

RE: Posftix!
we are re-formating and installing everything again on the server... let's see if the services work again... a hard work.. but it worth it.

RE: Posftix!
I'd say: there was something either misconfigured with amavis (which is not covered by the default ispcp installation) or amavis was not running...

Good luck with the new installation
