RE: Possible to use mod_php instead of fast-cgi?
Ya the "the incomplete header prob" its sucks and makes my clients mad....

I increased the children for that domain only as a test... i think it helped a bit, but not completely.

Ido not have a high load average its always under 1.0 , well for most of the time....

How would i check for unkilled php processes? just do a ps -auwx and check for php processes older than what amount of time?

Here is a quick ps ...........

oh the incomplete header prob Sad

Code:
#!/bin/sh

umask 022

PHPRC="/var/www/fcgi/domain.com/php4/"

export PHPRC
PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN=8
export PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN
PHP_FCGI_MAX_REQUESTS=500
export PHP_FCGI_MAX_REQUESTS

exec /usr/bin/php4-cgi
So you already increase the PHP_FCGID_CHILDREN ?

Quote:why would it be that i can not force php5?
Should be no Problem! Only change the content from the php5-starter to the php4-starter.

Quote:site does not work at all and only shows a blank white page
Any Error logs about it ?

Do you have a high load average ?
Too many unkilled php process ? How many are running ?
Our Problem is still the every domain uses 5 Apache Logs.
And with your 200 Domains... Rolleyes

RE: Possible to use mod_php instead of fast-cgi?
a "wc" for counting after the ps would be the nice way, but OK.
Try to switch to PHP5. I did not work with php4 and ispCP Rolleyes
Maybe someone else can give some info. But for the switch to php5.
Did you check the FAQ ? Of course or ?

Only a white site and no Error in the apachelog ?

RE: Possible to use mod_php instead of fast-cgi?
Just an FYI, i fixed the problem with using php5 rather than php4 with respect to teh php4-fcgi-starter file, my eAccelerator was not compiled properly for php5 ... once i recompiled eAccelerator properly, php5 worked fine....

So now i will switch over the trouble sites and see if they still get those error 500's

Thanks...
