OpenSUSE is not fully supported yet. There are a lot of outdated installfiles. If you want to use ispCP with Suse, please wait until RC4 will released.

Many of the files you'll find in the open suse repository (download.opensuse.org).

But now RC3 is released, we can go on optimizing ispcp for the distributions...

proftpd
perl-Crypt-PasswdMD5
perl-Term-ReadPassword
apache2-mod_auth_mysql

Not found. Im using CD and custom repositories. So this packages are not avalible from yast instalation. With INSTALL howto command yast `cat packages-suse`.

But SuSe have apache-mod_auth_mysql in other package, not sure which Wink

proftpd with mysql u can always compile as i do

Only problems are those perl script but probly i find them Wink

RE: OpenSuSe 10.3 64 bity
Hi sirwiz

could you please test the next nightly (tomorrow morning) - I just corrected the opensuse10(.3) package-list, the repositories (see doc/opensuse/INSTALL), the config and the Makefiles....

maybe I missed something - it's not easy to put all needed changes back to the trunk...

Feedback welcome!

RE: OpenSuSe 10.3 64 bity
Untill 'perl ispcp-setup' all works fine.

Thanks joximu! (My thanx is not for +1 to reputation, but is for +2 to armor)

Then we have:

Code:
Starting Installation...
Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /srv/www/ispcp/engine/setup/../ispcp_common_methods.pl line 258, <STDIN> line 17.
Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /srv/www/ispcp/engine/setup/../ispcp_common_methods.pl line 258.
Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /srv/www/ispcp/engine/setup/../ispcp_common_methods.pl line 258.
Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /srv/www/ispcp/engine/setup/../ispcp_common_methods.pl line 258.
ERROR: File '/etc/ispcp/bind/named.conf' does not exist !

But i think that you do not change install script for specific SuSe install catalogs, so its works great.

RE: OpenSuSe 10.3 64 bity
Hi sirviz

I had this messages too - but it seemed that a variable was missing in /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf - at least when I updated this file theese messages disappeared.

The named.conf thing should also be corrected - but I'll do a second test, maybe I missed a detail - but I know: it works without modifying the setup program...
