RE: All subdomains suddently redirect to parent site?
The issue returned as soon as i added an extra site, so i can assume that the subdomains are skipped when the updated sites-available/ispcp.conf is being written.

Any ideas anyone? Smile

From the sidebar of the admin panel:
ispCP 1.0rc3 OMEGA
build: 2007-10-15
Priamos

ok, this is a nightly from arount oct 07 until jan 08... not very exactly...

did you check if in the working copy of the ispcp.conf the subdomains are included?

I'm guessing it's the nightly build from between 2008-JAN-10 AND 2008-JAN-15

They are no longer included. I had this issue before when i started this thread, i then restored a backup of the ispcp.conf file as suggested in this thread.

Now after i added some additional sites to the server, as the ispcp.conf file was written again with the additional domains, the subdomains dissapeared again..

so the subdomains are skipped when the ispcp.conf files are generated...

the ispcp.conf is not generated from scratch - the working copy is taken and then the added or deleted domains are added/deleted from the file.

So, you need a good working copy in /etc/ispcp/apache/working/

Maybe you're fine with regenerating the config files (see howto) -if the database ispcp is ok.

I pasted the missing entries back into the ispcp.conf file based on my backups, and then copied the working live version to /ispcp/apache/working

database looks fine to me (pause / unpause works, adding/removing email adress works)

i'll keep you updated when the problem returns.

is there any more recent version of ispcp that you recommend? or should i best wait for the first big release?

greetings,
Rik

new version:

well, the RC3 is sort of a milestone and you should be able to update easily.

If you want to stay with nightlies then maybe until Changeset 1007 should be ok.
