[SOLVED] FTP DONT WORK

When i use normal FTP program i dont get a connect and when i use the filemanager it comes up following message:

An error has occured
Unable to connect to FTP server localhost on port 21.

Are you sure this is the address of the FTP server? This is often different from that of the HTTP (web) server. Please contact your ISP helpdesk or system administrator for help.

i am installing all new now.

now it works, but the filemanager does not have correkt directory
