[SOLVED] Postfix listening on port 10025
What is the process of postfix listening on port 10025 (cf. /etc/postfix/master.cf) used for?

Thanks,
Yves

RE: Postfix listening on port 10025
hey please read the postfix docu - this isn't a ispCP specific issue
http://www.postfix.org/SMTPD_PROXY_README.html

Please come back with questions that do concern ispCP...

It was added by ispCP during installation; it wasn't there before...

That's why I asked the question here! Thought it would be ispCP related as it is clearly listed under another ispCP banner!

Best Regards,
Yves

On this port postfix gets mails back from amavis (if it is used).

RE: [SOLVED] Postfix listening on port 10025
But it's not a ispCP special behaviour. As you can see in the docu, port 10025 is more or less a standard for postfix - other control panels or mail filtering software would do it the same way...
But well - how should you know...

Have a good sunday...
