i created the directory chmodded it to 777, but i'm still getting the forbidden.

i also regenerated the config files afterwards.

what am I missing?

i think I'm changing the proxy in the wrong place though... namely in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled

never mind, i found the right place. it's so obvious, somebody please kick my arse.....
it's /etc/apache2/mods-available/proxy.conf
