[OT] Apache is being killed every sunday morning at 6:25
Hi guys

I don't think that this is related to ispcp but maybe one of you saw that before:

My apache is getting killed by something every sunday morning at 06:25.

The only thing that is in the log is the following line:
[Sun Jun 15 06:25:43 2008] [notice] caught SIGWINCH, shutting down gracefully

I have a cronjob running that starts the apache at 06:26 every sunday. So I don't have any big interruption...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIGWINCH that sounds a little strange...

I have the same problem (Apache does not restart after log rotation, every day at 6:25AM).

How did you handle that?

What build are you guys running? I believe with the current SVN build, log rotation for apache is no longer needed, due to the fix for the "file handle problem". As well as fixing the problem of apache holding too many file handles, it will likely fix your issue too.
