Disable wildcard domain (subdomains) [solved]
Hi,

I have problem, i'm try to employ ispCP for my users but i'm getting trouble.

I have domain, call them mydomain.com

And that domain have created server in ispCP.

The problem is, eaven if i disable subdomains ! -1 !
In ispcp.conf file, i have
mydomain.com
and
http://www.mydomain.com
and this UNWANTED wildcard
*.mydomain.com

Can you help me, what should i change to disable this wildcard ?

If i delete it manual !, after any change the configuration will back to begin and i'm getting back this wildcard.

I found this
http://www.isp-control.net/ispcp/wiki/ho...as_domains

( now, new created domains have no wildcards) but i cant disable it on existing

My build of ispCP is:
ispCP 1.0.0 RC5 OMEGA
build: 20080614
Priamos

Please help me.

Regards
Seba

RE: Disable wildcard domain (subdomains)
you your change the templates located in /etc/ispcp/apache/parts
and delete the wildcard entry.

Then regenerate the configs (faq)

RE: Disable wildcard domain (subdomains)
you have to edit the entry not only in /etc/apache2/sites-available/ispcp.conf, but also in the template/working copy at /etc/ispcp/apache/working/ispcp.conf

@Zothos
you wrote the same help he already found in the faq he linked to, he managed that step

greets
Markus
