manual migration from vhcs2

im manually trying to migrate from vhcs2 to ispcp omega rc5.

when im adding email users i get this:
Password data is shorter than %s signs or includes not permitted signs!

What is the required specs for email passwords? Can one modify this requirements?
I would much like to use my old passwords from my vhcs2 install.
