Ispcp + Egroupware
Hi .. ..

I come here to present you my project of my training period.
My society wants me to build a solution which "mix" :
- Mail server (Postfix, Courier)
- Groupware interface (Egroupware)
- Administration interface (Ispcp)

At the moment,
- On an VMWARE (Etch Stable), i manage to have a usefull state of Egroupware.
- On a other VMWARE (Etch Stable), i manage to have a usefull state of Ispcp.

But actually, i don't manage yet to have Ispcp & Egroupware on the same machine :/ ( Pb with virtaul host to acced to Egroupware => I'll do it soon Wink ).

The major problem : Create domains & accounts in the 2 applications
- Actually, I have to create a domain or a mail user both in Ispcp .. and after in Egroupware ...

My "goal" :
- Link the 2 applications in the way that when i create a domain or user in Ispcp ... It directly creates it also in egroupware database Wink

So .. i come here to search info about how Ispcp function when a domain or user is created Smile

I saw there is several repertories which are used in Ispcp :
- /etc/ispcp/apache/parts/*
- /var/www/ispcp/engine/*

I hope my project will succed in to create a patch for Ispcp which permits to integer Egroupware Smile

Thx for your advises Smile

RE: Ispcp + Egroupware
mmhh make this really sense ??

I also use egroupware, but there are a lot of other logins that are NOT in ispCP and this is good so. I don´t won´t them in ispCP.

Egroupware has a really good User Managment with the Modules right and so on. So why don´t you use this? Rolleyes

RE: Ispcp + Egroupware
The mechanism is basically easy :

The data for the new domain / mail is inserted into the db and after that we call the ispcp_daemon via socket - and that one starts the ispcp-rqst-mngr which looks into the db at all tables where status is not ok and not error.

If data is found the script for creating domains, emails etc. will be called.

RE: Ispcp + Egroupware
It's going on Smile

But i have a small question Big Grin ... Concerning php.ini file

After research ... i saw there are a lot of file php.ini in ispcp structure Big Grin ^^
So .. i want to know if there is a "master php.ini file" used by IspCP ?

Is it :
/etc/ispcp/fcgi/parts/master/php4/php.ini & /etc/ispcp/fcgi/parts/master/php5/php.ini

or another files ? Smile

Thx for answers Smile

Ryu !
