[SOLVED] phpmyadmin 3 yes/no ?
I just read that phpmyadmin 3.0 is released.
is it recommed to upgrade to the new version or stay with the 2.x for some time to wait for the first patches of 3.0?

how do i have to update it? just download and install to the current phpmyadmin path?
is there any further configuraiton needed?
or is ispcp not compatible to it, yet?

thanks & greets,
soomon

Replacing the current instalation should work (you'll loose the IspCp's custom theme tough), just backup before doing it Wink. I personally prefer to wait a few minor versions before upgrading, unless it's a development server Smile

I've installed 3.0 and don't seem to have any problems. Works like a charm.

Yeah the theme is a bit broken. But PMA3 is on the server and running.
Security first! Thanks @ RatS
