RC6 courier to dovecot

Hi guys,

I am a newbie to ispcp... and i had rc6 installed.. and given that a lot is suggesting to move over to dovecot, i had dovecot installed....

i got two problems...
1.) mails don't get delivered
it gives out this kind of error
postfix/pipe[16591]: 50834B7C3F: to=<user@mydomain.com.ph>, relay=dovecot, delay=21, delays=21/0.02/0/0.03, dsn=5.3.0, status=bounced (Command died with status 89: "/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver"
2.) i cannot authenticate...
i kinda noticed in the suggested config the entry for password_query with
a mysql statement md5(mail_pass), but when i check on the mail_pass field
in the database it does not contain a plaintext file..
could this be the problem?

Sure you use RC6 and no SVN Checkout ?

i got the nightly build installed yesterday...
i was able to resolve the first problem by reverting back the delivery to virtual iinstead of deliver...
i'll this authentication workaround

I just tried the autentication workaround you suggestion.. but i am getting an error about the script being unable to locate the file ispcp_common_code.pl but this file exist. what could be the problem?

btw.. how about the first problem that i got.. i really wanted to use dovecot's deliver program.

Me too,
I am updating my install right now, before password encryption (somewhere in the svn) everything was working as expected, so still should be with some minor tweaks
Also I've working quotas in my server via dovecot deliver, maybe some more tweaking will be necessary to make everyting ok again ..

I'll try to update when I've something to tell

Didn't help me much at all, as I've recently upgraded to RC7 and then decided to move over to dovecot.

Now I can't not login via pop3 or imap. Just get this error :-

dovecot: Internal error while decrypting password for username bpratt@zzzz.com from 203.xx.xx.xx for IMAP server


It all should work, as I've gone over the how to many times now.
