Have you guys heard of this? I really like Roundcube, but have HEARD it has a couple problems.
Check out http://atmail.org/

Would the integration of this be the same as Roundcube?

Has anyone tried it?

You can install what you want - any client.
We support only SquirrelMail as Mailclient.

well of course, wasnt expecting to get support for it
but I saw the roundmail install HowTo and was just wondering if you guys thought the install would be the same

Try it out!
You can install it as the atMail Docu say it.
Best is you copy it to the "tools" directory with the Permissions vu2000:vu2000
So everbody can use it like squirrelmail.
