No Login avaible
Hello Comunity,

here are my problem:

I installed ispcp on a brand new ubuntu 8.04.1 minimal system with the perfect server-setup documentation (http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server...4-lts-p3).

Everythings fine within the installation.
But at least i want to get in the backend.

And here it comes:
---------->>>
I entered the right username and password.
But there is absolutly no action from ispcp. No error message and no backend. Nothing!
<<<----------

After a few trys the brutforce-defense blocks me for 30 minutes.

Apache Logs ? Is there something about Authorized failed ?
May Debian Etch is the better choice for ispCP.

Maybe it is, but there are hunderts of running ISP-Systems. So it should be work Wink =)
I found something different in /var/log/apache2/users/gies0r.proplay.biz-error.log... Maybe it helps:

RE: No Login avaible
Code:
[Sun Nov 02 17:41:44 2008] [warn] FastCGI: server "/var/www/fcgi/master/php5-fcgi-starter" has failed to remain running for 30 seconds given 3 attempts, its restart interval has$
So this is the first error. FastCGI isn't work correct.

This Version is old. Why dont you installed rc6 ? I mean that there are some changes in the FastCGI Config.

Code:
/etc/init.d/ispcp_network: line 82: /sbin/iptables: No such file or directory
Is this a VServer ? No IPtables, why ??

Thats seems to be right. But what is the reason, that FastCGI isn´t starting?

Because the Hoster´s forum told me, that RC6 is some kind of buggi. Can i update this version to RC6 ?

Yes it is, i checked apt-get install iptables. It´s still the newest version.

What can i do to get ispCP running?
