how do I test maia?
I have installed maia mailguard on my Debian Etch ispCP system.

All stats are always blank. The graphs dont show.

If I send the test virus and spam emails they go through right to my account.

How do I test maia?

as you said -> send the test virus and spam

Did you enabled Maia for this Domain and THIS user ?
Can you login as THIS User in Maia and see the eMails ?
Check the header in the Mail.
Also enabled AntiVirs ? Please recheck your Config in the GUI.

I followed the integration guide but dont know how to check headers.

I can login to the maia gui and I have added all the domains and users. There are no stats of any kind. Are their logs somewhere I can look at?

Lannie

PS Sorry about the double post!

Check your mail.log about AMaVis in text. Can you find there something ?
Next in dem Mail-Header, you can find it by open the mail in Outlook or Thunderbird and take a look in the Sourcecode:
Code:
...
[127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-maia, port 10024)
X-Virus-Scanned: Maia Mailguard 1.0.2a

I found a site that fixes a lot of clanav to amavis user errors in the guide on this site. It appears there is a HOWTO update to this guide but the one here does not show any of those necessary fixes. The link is:

http://www200.pair.com/mecham/spam/clama...d-new.html

It is now working!!

RE: how do I test maia?
I have maia running now but it never sends the emails to the users with the link to check their spam/nospam files.

How can I tell if the cronjobs are working?

Lannie

PS Installed on Debian Etch with postfix.
